Veggy triumph

This just in – the Winner of best cook book at Observer Food Monthly awards was given to a vegetarian cook book ‘Plenty’ by Yotam Ottolenghi pictured below.

The awards are a big deal and are greatly anticipated by many foodies out there. This year marks the eighth year they have been running, and aim to celebrate the best in British food and produce, from independent producers to the UK’s most revered chefs. After much success with his restaurants, Ottolenghi wrote his cook book and writes the column ‘New Vegetarian’ for The Guardian’s weekend magazine.  Check out his website for more information on his restaurants in London, and the Ottolenghi ‘philosophy’. However, do note that Ottolenghi isn’t vegetarian himself but specialises in vegetarian cuisine. His restaurants, therefore, do include meat 😦
